The Comic Card series was born from the encounter between cartoonists and the social and supportive sector, sometimes paying homage to comic book characters, more and more often connecting to real characters, stories and situations to be known and remembered, current or past, using this through to also reach people who normally, for various reasons, do not approach certain issues. Sometimes also to “humanize” those who should be remembered for what they did or what happened, but without forgetting that they are or were people like us, with their dreams, projects and passions.
The solidarity Comic Card #38 is dedicated to Ciro Colonna. It is a particular solidarity card as an established cartoonist was not involved but was created by several hands, by educators and children who attend the Ciro Colonna Center in Ponticelli (Naples): Roberto Cirillo, Pasquale Di Napoli and Ilaria Spagnuolo contributed to its preparation.
Two dark eyes, framed by black glasses and a reassuring face. Ciro was a simple boy, he lived with his mother Adelaide, father Enrico and Mary, his older sister. A great passion for SS Napoli that he shared with his father. He had the dreams, hopes, plans of any nineteen year old who loves life and who knows he has it all in front of him. Dreams, hopes, projects that he would certainly have stubbornly pursued.
The photos were provided by the Colonna family, under the removable card, the photo of Ciro smiling can be seen printed on the postcard, originally it was in color, the choice was to propose it in black and white, with the particularity of the light blue shirt .
It was a Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The scenario is that of via Decio mura Roman consul and it is the O lot or District of the Roman Villas, a few steps from the Colonna house. Ciro had left home to meet a friend. She had decided to wait for him playing table football in a nearby circle. Nothing different from what usually happened. But not that day. That day would change the lives of the Colonna family forever. And this only because, in that same circle, there was one of the top exponents of the Barbudos clan of the Sanità district, who had been at war for some time with the other families of the historic center for control of the territory. That June 7, fate crossed the very different lives of two young people.
In the card, Ciro wears a Napoli shirt among the buildings where he grew up, with the number 3, a victory not only for football but a symbol of hope. Three weeks after his death, with the community of Ponticelli, a playground and a pitch in his memory were redeveloped, in 2019 the Centro Colonna came to life, a place which, through the commitment of the local associations, welcomes the educational activities in memory of Ciro.
Figurine Forever will bring the card to Naples on 7 June 2023, on the occasion of the day in Ponticelli in memory of Ciro Colonna. 300 of the 326 printed copies of this first edition will be donated to the Ciro Colonna Center and to the realities that live there, including the Presidium of Libera Ponticelli and Maestri di Strada Onlus.
The first edition, numbered and limited, is not accidental. 326, 3 like the Napoli badges, 26 like the 1926 foundation year of the Napoli Club. Ciro, up there, is certainly celebrating for the Scudetto.

Fumetto Card Forever #37: GIANCARLO SIANI
Celebrate Napoli’s third Scudetto by always keeping the memory strong and alive of those who cannot be here to celebrate this immense joy that has overwhelmed the city and millions of fans, even from other teams or often not even football fans.
The solidarity Comic Card #37 is in memory of Giancarlo Siani and all the innocent victims of the mafia.
Giancarlo Siani was a fan of Napoli and also a sportsman, player and coach of a volleyball team. His job as a journalist probably didn’t allow him to devote much space to following football, but he would certainly have been enthusiastic about it.
Giancarlo Siani was unable to celebrate any of the three championships he won. He was only able to share the joy of Maradona’s arrival in Naples, but when the first championship arrives, in the 1986/87 championship, Giancarlo had already been killed by the Camorra, a year and a half earlier, on September 23, 1985, at just 26 .
Giancarlo was a reporter for Il Mattino. His investigations into the Camorra left their mark, which is why he was killed, because he was an uncomfortable journalist, a cheerful boy, sincere but absolutely stubborn and convinced in carrying on his work. He remained in the hearts of many, with his Olivetti typewriter with which he wrote over 600 articles and surveys.
The photos were supplied by the Siani family, under the removable solidarity card, the original photo of Giancarlo, from which the inspiration for the drawing was taken, can be seen printed on the postcard; he is in black and white, with the peculiarity of the green hat, a detail that we wanted to add, like his Mehari car, a symbol by heart that has been carried around the cities of Italy over the years.
The design was created by Dario Ruggieri, a great Napoli fan, to whom he dedicated two comic books “My Maradona tattoo” and “My first UEFA Cup. Stuttgart 05/17/89”.

The initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Napoli Club Bologna, named in memory of Giancarlo Siani. Figurine Forever will bring the sticker to Naples on June 7, on the occasion of the day in Ponticelli in memory of Ciro Colonna.

Michele forever! In January 2022, a friend of Figurine Forever left us, but above all a boy with a heart of gold, engaged in the front line with the splendid reality of Porta Pazienza, a pizzeria that is much more than a pizzeria, as it is. they define themselves as “we are a social project” (https://portapazienza.bo.it/). In a mix of tears and satisfaction, we are thrilled to announce the solidarity Comic Card # 24, in memory of Michele Ammendola.
Michele, from Bologna by adoption, was a true Neapolitan, a great fan of the Azzurri team. This is why we thought that one way to remember him was to imagine him as the footballer of his beloved Napoli and even with Porta Pazienza as the main sponsor of the team! The edition is also a tribute to his sporting passion, 126 copies, thinking about the year of the club’s birth, 1926.
All this was made possible by the splendid graphic work of the young cartoonist Gloria Goderecci, from Abruzzo but also from Bologna by adoption, author of the recent graphic novel “Death is only the beginning” (Tunuè editions). Dear Michele, even your farewell is only the beginning for us, your commitment and all that of the children of Porta Pazienza, together with other related associations, has never stopped, it has gone further and will continue to do so.

Fumetto Forever Card #17: BUD SPENCER!
We are always excited to announce a new solidarity card, in this case we are just as little bit incredulous and certainly very happy to be able to pay homage to a myth. The ComicCard # 17 is Carlo Pedersoli, aka BUD SPENCER!
The initiative was made possible thanks to the splendid and fruitful collaboration both with the Pedersoli family (we thank Cristiana, Diamante and Giuseppe Pedersoli) and with Marco Sonseri and Roberto Lauciello, authors of the comic biography of the great Italian actor, released this year with ReNoir Comics.
As you know, our Fumetto Cards always have a sporting reference, in the case of Bud Spencer we also wanted to pay homage to his hometown, to which he has always remained very attached, Naples. We also wanted to remember the most unforgettable period for Neapolitan fans, which is why Bud wears the jersey of the times of Diego Armando Maradona who, together with many other champions, led the club to win in Italy and in Europe.
It is not the only reference you will find, the particular edition of the solidarity card is a reference to one of Bud Spencer’s most loved films, 163 numbered copies, 63 as the jersey number that the gentle giant wore in “They Called Him Bulldozer”.
