Berluca Forever! We are happy to announce the solidarity Comic Card # 14, created by Luca Berlati, cartoonist with more than 30.000 followers on Instagram, resident in Cesena but, as can be seen from the image, born in Rome and “Romanist of Rome”.
We had the pleasure of reading his first graphic novel “Qua tutto al posto” (Shockdom Edizioni, 2021) and were pleasantly surprised. It is an autobiographical story, in different parts some of us can certainly be found, the drawing page after page makes it very well. A strong but also delicate story, perhaps one of the “everyday stories” as Riccardo Fogli sang, but an intense and beautiful story to tell, as much as reading it.

“SOSPESO” is a splendid graphic novel released for Tunué editions in 2018, the main character is Martino, a teenager from Milan at the beginning of the 90s. We are very happy to highlight this little gem of Italian comics, a story that is a hit to the heart, perhaps necessary, perhaps for someone not understandable, but absolutely to read.
We therefore involved the two authors:
GIORGIO SALATI (Milan), an author known above all for his Disney and Brina stories, a highly successful title also on an international level. This is another reason why the work on SOSPESO leaves people unmoved, the themes are completely different
ARMIN BARDUCCI (Bozen), cartoonist and graphic designer with very interesting productions, often outside the box. In everyday life he teaches drawing to children and works as an educator
The card, like all the previous ones, maintains a sporting connotation. The choice is not accidental, Martino also in the book claims his passion for the Los Angeles Lakers. Armin could have created a design that echoed the classic NBA cards and so it was but in the setting of the suburbs of Milan, as is the comic strip, where Martino lives.
Giorgio Salati is not only a cartoonist but also a good songwriter (here his latest video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn3Lz9tj_iM), for this reason the presentation of the card will be a special evening where the “figurine” meet the music, through comics.

The first non-Italian Comic Card! Even if the legendary Alberto Madrigal is a great friend of the “Belpaese”, often present at our comic fairs and many collaborations with Zerocalcare and other local publishers and authors.
Anyone who reads Alberto’s comic stories knows that he has long since moved to Germany, so we liked to imagine an alternative life of the character Javi as a footballer: thanks to his performances with the Berlin club (Hertha or Union? you choose) he earns the call-up in the Spanish national team!
