The first event after the lockdown, from “A Skeggia”, the headquarters of Forever Ultras Bologna, the Solidarity Comic Card #5 by Patrick Zaki is presented in collaboration and in support of Amnesty International.
The initiative goes beyond the most optimistic forecasts, not only for the 150 printed copies sold out in a few days, but for the excellent media coverage, both locally and nationally. The main objective was achieved. A second one will be created, also designed by Gianluca Costantini. The colors of Bologna FC are no longer the classic red and blue, but refer to the glorious 60s shirt. The message is clear: we want the Scudetto and the Scudetto is Patrick’s release.
Since then, the two stickers have been taken around Italy and have been published in important newspapers and magazines such as, for example, La Repubblica, Corriere dello Sport and the monthly Linus.

At Osteria dell’Orsa, in Bologna, the great emotion of personally delivering the solidarity cards to Patrick. The choice is not accidental, the Orsa is the last place where Patrick had been before the trip to Egypt and it was a place where he often went. He is also remembered in the graphic novel by Laura Cappon and Gianluca Costantini (Feltrinelli).
Patrick, when he was in Egypt, said he missed the Orsa tagliatelle. Together with Amnesty Bologna we therefore wanted to re-propose that toast and those tagliatelle as if the world had paused in recent years.
Tagliatelle, figurine and a wonderful thing called Freedom, we all often forget its value and importance.
Thanks to Patrick and his girlfriend Reny Iskander for sharing this hour together, where we also talked about football, solidarity, Bologna, sport, travel and much more. Patrick is really one of us, where that “us” is the whole world.
The story doesn’t end here, there are already ideas and projects when Patrick returns to Bologna in September, as well as the creation and printing of the new edition of the solidarity card, which will be different between the first two.
