“Hey Beppe!”, This time we play in advance not waiting for the anniversary and this time we involved one of the most beloved Italian cartoonists and with him, of course, one of the most read strips. We challenge anyone, not to have had at least once a diary, a notebook, a pencil case, of course a register or really much more of Alberto, the wolf in constant struggle with Moses and the other inhabitants of the farm to be able to reach the arms of his beloved hen Marta.
We were lucky enough to meet the famous designer at the WOW Museum in Milan, whom we support with some of our solidarity stickers and whom we thank, through the Director Luigi F. Bona it was possible to get back in touch with the author of Lupo Alberto and Cattivik for to get to this splendid solidarity figurine, it has yet to come out and has already entered the myth.
As often happens with our productions, we wanted to give a sporting connotation to the solidarity stickers, in this case the memory of the many strips read, starting from the legendary Eureka Pocket of Editoriale Corno, came to meet us. We talked about it with Silver and his staff, not only was an unpublished rugby-themed design born but, given the new graphics of our postcards, we were also able to insert that strip from many years ago that inspired us and that above all makes us still laughing a lot!
Lupo Alberto was born in 1973, even if our hero will become the main protagonist only a year later. Next year we imagine there will be many events to commemorate the 50th anniversary of this comic, all Italian pride, we will be there too, with our solidarity card, provided that of course it does not end sooner. After all, the limited and numbered edition is a tribute to the strip’s half-century.
