Pigro (Lazy) Forever! In our FanForever series we have involved historical names of Italian music, icons of our sounds and our culture who, personally or through their heirs, wanted to participate in our initiative, particular but above all in solidarity. Each of them is unique and alone, the rock singer-songwriter we are announcing is even more so: the solidarity FanForever Card # 20 is dedicated to Ivan Graziani.
This approach to the artist has led us to listen to songs that are an important part of Italian music: “Lugano Addio”, “Firenze (canzone triste)”, “Agnese dolce Agnese”, “Pigro”, the list would be quite long, for an important career unfortunately ended too soon 25 years after the death of Ivan Graziani, it is an honor but also a burden to pay homage to him.
Unlike the previous FanForever Cards, for Ivan Graziani we decided to have a different image on the postcard than the one on the card. We felt it was important and meaningful to pay homage doubly. Above all, we couldn’t resist inserting his beloved guitar and his equally unforgettable red glasses in some way.
The solidarity card is made in collaboration with his wife Anna Graziani, she revealed to us Ivan’s passion for the football team of his city, as well as that for the Italian national team. For this reason it was chosen to dress the rock singer-songwriter with the classic Teramo Calcio shirt. The year is not accidental, we wanted to hypothesize an alternative story where Ivan, in 1973, while his first album in Italian was released, was called to play in the red and white club. Maybe one day sharing the field with another Graziani, this time of real football and world champion, Francesco, for all Ciccio.
