You’ll never swap alone! Our solidarity stickers have reached 50 releases, could we not celebrate this milestone with something extraordinary? We are thrilled to announce the Comic Card # 16 solidarity card, created by the legendary Massimo Cavezzali!
Massimo Cavezzali is synonymous with the history of Italian humorous comics, linked to the world of strips but not only. We loved him in the stories of the Dolline, the Dio Spa, Ava but also in his comic biographies on the great musicians, the one on Vasco Rossi is memorable and highly sought after. Right in this period, Cavezzali is in bookstores and comic shops with the new work “Comic submarine” (Vololibero Edizioni), the opportunity was too tempting not to try to contact him and his response was incredible, we thank him for this.
Our Comic Card solidarity stickers always have a sporting connotation, in this case it was easy, John, Paul, George and Ringo portrayed as Liverpool FC footballers. Four unpublished drawings made by Cavezzali for our edition.
In the beginning we had thought of making a single card, but Max’s drawings were too beautiful to combine them and therefore it was decided to make a monumental edition of 4 cards + postcards. Each of them is limited edition and numbered to 99 copies. We have also decided to add the number 50 behind our logo to celebrate this splendid achievement.
Consequently, the numbering restarts from 1 to 99 for each different solidarity card:

The set of 4 solidarity cards Fumetto Card # 16 will be presented in an exclusive preview at the Bologna Disco, Figurine and Comic Book Fair on 27/28 November 2021 at BolognaFiere, an event organized by Kolosseo.
