Gigi Marulla forever! There are players who have entered the collective imagination, champions who have not played in top clubs or in the national team but who nevertheless have remained in the hearts of many fans. One of these is certainly Gigi Marulla, Cosenza’s flag but also with important seasons with Genoa and Avellino.
We are happy and proud to release this Celebrative Sticker and to do it in collaboration with the city that loves it most, Cosenza, so much so that the San Vito stadium is dedicated to him. Gigi Marulla left us too soon but his memory is alive and strong in the heart of Cosenza fans and all lovers of football and good sports stories.
We wanted to pay homage to Number 9 with a sticker linked to Cosenza’s victory in the 1983 Anglo-Italian Tournament, the only international trophy on the club’s bulletin board. A sticker that doesn’t exist, like the ones we like to make!
The initiative was made possible thanks to the availability of Kevin Marulla and the family of the Calabrian champion. The role of the Cultural Association “Ritorno al Fumetto” was fundamental to allow the successful outcome of contacts with the Marulla family and the sports world of Cosenza.
With this solidarity sticker it will be possible to support the “Adotta con la Figurina” project where Figurine Forever engages annually in different solidarity projects and support the ASSOCIATION LA TERRA DI PIERO – COSENZA (http://www.laterradipiero.it/), an important social reality born to remember Piero Romeo, a great fan and leader of the Rossoblu supporters, but also a man who had made solidarity a lifestyle.
